Dice Roll Expressions
The adjacent list explains how to roll some of the more obscure numerical ranges. For example to get a number between 47-2.863 million you could: Roll a d3 + six d10s to generate a 7-digit number. If result > 2,862,954, reroll. Then add 46. Download the Dice Expressions HERE.
Shadowdark+B&B
How to use Shadowdark and Barrows & Borderlands at the same table This is a question that came up recently, and I find it a very fun thought experiment. Both systems are OSR and fairly compatible in many ways, but lets see how to have the easiest mix at the same table. Download the guide HERE.
Fast Travel in the Borderlands
Sometimes returning to town while adventuring can be a bit daunting. Especially if you only have a few minutes left to play. Since my campaign is 1:1 time, this can cause issues with characters stuck in the wilderness, or having to use the Solo-Rules to make it back to safety. With this being the case, here is a potential way of resolving a ‘Fast-Travel’ back to town. This may also be used in the case of ‘Fast-Traveling’ to anywhere on the map. Download the rules HERE.
