I am incredibly excited to announce that Barrows & Borderlands LLC is heading the official reprint of the 1977 Scientific/Fantasy TTRPG Realm of Yolmi!!

Marshall Rose, the Co-Creator of the game, has licensed us the reprints of both the 1st and 2nd edition of the game!

I plan to provide digital versions of the game for free so that everyone can enjoy this incredible piece of gaming history!

Realm of Yolmi

A gas of unknown elements drifted toward Earth and no news network would report it, because the ratings were good and the format was happy. It arrived anyway. Animals mutated into packs. Automatons went rampant. Men turned semi-barbaric. A news commentator found immortality through drugs and founded a religious order called The Undead of Yolmi. What was left of mankind fell into anarchy, and out of the crude tribal villages came small bands hunting lost knowledge and treasure. They became known as Adventurers.

The Game of Games Campaign

My campaign is best described as a Massive Multiplayer Multiversal Tabletop Roleplaying Game. Players and Referees will travel across the multiverse, play in different systems, and level up in the core setting of THE BORDERLANDS OF FIRNUM. Our core game system in Barrows & Borderlands mixed with the Arduin Grimoires. We call it the PORTAL TO ADVENTURE SYSTEM. If you like to learn more, check out our Kickstarter HERE. Your Characters will live in a shared setting with over 150+ players each with 5-10 Characters. You can explore however you like in a sandbox style fashion, where there are no restraints like railroading, Referee fiat, or scheduling issues. Sometimes you will be roleplaying over text, other you will be playing conventionally with a Referee, and sometimes you'll be playing the game Solitaire style.

    This includes a few current rumors, quests, and locations to explore in the B&B Game of Games Campaign. Feel free to puruse the quests, and then find a party in the Scheduling-Party-Forming Channel of the discord. A Referee will then Schedule and Event in the Events Tab.

    This is used to submit new Spells, Rituals, and Items your characters may have created or Referees may have created. Please write the items out like it is in Psychics & Sorcerers or Horrors & Treasures.

  • B&B Map

    Here is where you can download a Free map of the Borderlands region of Firnum. This is where most of our Campaigning takes place. You can also use this in Solo-Play to move your Character across the world.

  • Solo/Patron Play Form

    This form is used in Solo-Play and/or Patron play. Playing B&B solo can be a lot of fun. In my home campaign we use it all the time. Since we have 4 Referees and well over 30 players who each have 2-6 characters, it can be hard to run games all the time. To help with this we allow players to Solo-Play.
